Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator is a saga of military flight simulators set in World War Two chiefly and created by Microsoft Game Studios. Inspired in the first civil flight simulator of Microsoft (Microsoft Flight Simulator), the saga has launched 3 editions to date, each one of them set in a different environment from World War Second and the third one set again in Europe (Northwest) in 1943.
Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2 is the second release of this simulation game. This version incorporates new functionality, like the Missions Publisher , and some improvements. Above all, it incorporates a much improved flight model if compared with its predecessor. Combat Flight Simulator 2 is an improvement over its predecessor in almost every respect. The most notable of these is the graphics. Both the aircraft and the terrain models have been significantly upgraded, and the result is a very good-looking simulation. The aircraft models are particularly good in Combat Flight Simulator 2.
This simulation is located in the Pacific theater and the good weather effects further enhance the scenery. |
